Camouflage using slides

Difficult to choose which ones to post...A crazy and an amazing time taking these pictures which wouldn't had been possible without Maria Fidalgo and Lucas Muñoz 's collaboration.
We did all the work in one hour while the shop 3 Gongoras was closed at lunch time. Maria was perfect model. We laughed so much thinking of new ideas.

Hand printing samples

These are my favourite final printing samples. (I was obsessed with bubbles)

On top of the kitchen floor

I painted cake paper with acrylics so that it looks exactly as the floor. This was part of my research for my camouflage brief

A new cloud

Love this picture!

Dolls & Cups

Painted dolls and cups with acrylics, then hiding them in the streets around my block in Madrid... I was quite embarrassed at the begining when people were staring at me..."what is she doing?!" but after a while I really had fun!

Trees

Pictures of the "coat-tree" as an example of camouflage. Hiding Carol within the trees of the Retiro (Madrid). She had to be a tree which was not easy! I made this coat two years ago for Sena Cifuentes. Wishing to use it this winter

Hand Knitting

Hand knitted wool and plastic cables

Plastic bags

Painted Tesco plastic bags. Love these pictures...

Burnt plastics

Units and jellyfishes

Summer 2007 brief was about finding objects (units) available in large quantities in order to build new structures.

I spent days thinking of different objects that I could use and finally I decided to use cupcakes moulds (muffins). They are painted with oils and glued so that they look like jellyfishes. I made five with different patterns and sizes.
That summer I was bitten by a jellyfish...
