Product Designer Kwangho Lee creates big knotting objects out of cables: lighting, chairs,... Amazing stuff. I love the way this technique is used in such a big scale and its impact by using only one colour. I completly used his whole website for last project research!
These are some samples done for this project "Metropoli" inspired by the bright colours and block shapes of the games in the city. I played around with plastics, incorporating them with my knitting...This was our first approach to the dubied machines(industrial knit machine). Really enjoyed this project.(first picture is our group outcome)
External project for WSGN: to develop a series of experimental knitted samples to be a source for their autumn-winter 2010 knit forecast. Two of them were selected! My group theme was Digital Structure. We did for the first time laser cutting with knit and I got addicted to it...
